The
following is an extract from a recent English magazine.

stationery shop only to find that the assistant didn't know what one was .
True.
A
manager of a charity shop recently told me how she accepted some books, one of
which was a new but clearly unwanted volume of Treasure Island.
When
she opened it a ten pound note dropped out together with the inscription "To my
grandson. May you have as much treasure in your life as you find in this
book."
Each
chapter was preceded by another ten pound note! It was the charity's gain but
how sad that the grandson never discovered the gift or the kind thought behind
it.
Did the
grandfather ever find out? I hope not!"
